There is no difference in the quality of CBD in Herbal Health CBD Oil and Capsules. Each one contains CBD derived from organic hemp that has been grown in the United States without the use of chemicals, insecticides, or herbicides. The main difference is in the form of consumption.
Capsules are simply ingested orally. Pop 'em with a drink or a tasty meal, and you're good to go. But with CBD oils, you can put in a little more work to create a slightly different effect.
CBD oil can be enjoyed orally, by simply swallowing the solution, or through sublingual use. To use CBD oil sublingually, you will select the desired amount of oil with the included dropper and place it under (sub) the tongue (lingual). Once the oil is under your tongue, it's recommended to hold it in place for 90 seconds and then swallow.
The sublingual application of organic compounds like CBD allows a portion of the product to pass through the mouth's tissues. This enables the cannabidiol to slip into the bloodstream a little faster and create a quicker onset. It also allows a slightly more significant amount of CBD to be absorbed and used by the body. With oral use, approximately 8-15% will be absorbed. In comparison, sublingual use allows the body to absorb 6-20% of the cannabidiol you take in.
CBD may be distributed throughout the body in a slightly different manner for both oral and sublingual applications. This is possible because, with sublingual use, a portion of the cannabidiol will enter the bloodstream through the mouth first and then enter the gut after swallowing. This will deposit some cannabidiol in a unique position in the bloodstream before circulating to relevant targets closer to the gut membrane.
At the end of the day, these administration methods have a similar duration of six to eight hours and a mild difference in absorption. But, the rates of absorption are very close. So if you choose the convenience of oral capsules, there's no need to feel like you're missing out.
